Fruitcake has always been perfectly happy on her own. She's funny, confident, sexually liberated, and doesn't have time for people who make life complicated. Then she meets the strange girl from her Intro to Psychology class.
What starts with awkward conversations and a shared appreciation for films with unnecessarily long titles soon becomes something harder to define. Friendship? Crush? Obsession? Fruitcake isn't sure.
As she's pulled deeper into the girl's world, unsettling cracks begin to appear. Suddenly, the lines between memory and reality start to blur, forcing Fruitcake to confront parts of herself she's spent years trying to ignore.
A queer coming of age story wrapped in psychological mystery, Fruitcake is funny, unsettling and impossible to look away from.
